St. Mary's QB will play at Purdue

Quarterback Justin Siller of Orchard Lake St. Mary's committed to Purdue on Thursday.

Siller, who is 6-foot-4, was ranked No. 19 on The Detroit News preseason top 20 list.

He also was offered a scholarship by Indiana, Louisville, Minnesota and Northwestern.

Siller is the third player from St. Mary's to commit to a major Division I-A program.

Receiver/defensive back Dionte Allen (Florida State) and receiver Taurian Washington (Ohio State) are the others.
