Justin Semmes: Free Press Prep Star of Week

Football; junior fullback.
School: Orchard Lake St. Mary's
Favorite class : Trigonometry.
Favorite athlete : Brandon Jacobs.
Future career : Economics.
Role model : "My big brother, Jason, the captain of our team. I strive to be like him everyday."
What he did : In the district final win over Melvindale, he had 28 carries for 119 yards and four touchdowns. His fourth touchdown of the game was a one-yard run, which he also credits to quarterback Robert Bolden. Both were holding the ball as they entered the end zone. Semmes also plays lacrosse.
What he thinks : About the season: "This is the furthest we've gone in a season since I've played. We are playing our best at the right time. It's really exciting to be on our campus right now." About football: "I like the camaraderie. It's a great team sport where everyone goes for one common goal. I like practice and getting better every day. There's such a great atmosphere at school on game day."
