Series History: The Eaglets and the Falcons have played an annual home-and-home series since 1994. In 2001, the two teams played a second time in the Catholic League playoffs with the Eaglets winning 12-7. St. Mary's has won the last four games including two in the Catholic League Classic at Ford Field.

2006 Recap: After starting the 2006 season with wins over Madison Heights Bishop Foley and Flint Beecher, the Falcons finished at 4-5 (0-4 CHSL Central) in Jack Masserang's first year as head coach.  Divine Child ended the season with a 14-6 win over Detroit Osborn, but failed to make the state playoffs for the second straight year after going in 2002, 2003, and 2004.

2007 Preview:  The Falcons play Dearborn Fordson, Madison Heights Bishop Foley and Amhertburg (ONT) Amherst before meeting the Eaglets at home in Week 4.

2007 Season (3-6, 1-4) : Lost to Dearborn Fordson, 34-21; beat Madison Heights Bishop Foley, 21-14; beat General Amherst (Ont), 27-7; lost to St. Mary's, 42-14; beat U-D Jesuit, 42-20; lost to Warren De La Salle, 39-7; lost to Detroit Catholic Central, 48-14; lost to Birmingham Brother Rice, 55-6; lost to Inksster, 46-14.
