Series History: Since the series resumed in 1993 after a 44-year hiatus, the Eaglets have won 9 of 11 games, losing in 2002 and 2006 by identical 14-7 scores on the Pilots' home field..

2006 Recap: The Pilots (11-3, 4-1 CHSL) were the Division 2 runner-up, nearly upsetting champion Muskegon, after finishing second in the CHSL Central Division and losing the CHSL Prep Bowl A-B Championship to Brother Rice. It was a different story in the playoffs as the Pilots beat the Warriors in the regional final. The Pilots held on to beat the Eaglets at home in Week 8 to earn the right to play Brother Rice in the CHSL Prep Bowl A-B Championship.

2007 Preview:  The Pilots have one of their strongest and fastest teams in years, and their coach feels that staying healthy will be the key to success. Another big concern is finding replacements for the defensive line. The Pilots play Detroit Kettering, Flint Carman-Ainsworth and Windsor (ONT) Sandwich before opening league play with Detroit U-D Jesuit. The Pilots visit the Eaglets in Week 8.

2007 Season to date (6-3, 3-2) :  Beat Detroit Kettering, 41-0; beat Flint Carman-Ainsworth, 14-3; beat Sandwich (Ont) Secondary, 44-7; beat U-D Jesuit, 48-14; beat Detroit Catholic Central, 21-14 (OT); beat Dearborn Divine Child, 39-7; lost to Birmingham Brother Rice, 17-7; lost to St. Mary's, 28-13; lost to Detroit Catholic Central in Prep Bowl, 10-7.
