St. Mary's grooms six recruits

Orchard Lake St. Mary's had six players sign -- four with Division 1 schools and two with Grand Valley State, the defending Division II national champion.
The Division 1 players: defensive back Dionte Allen (Florida State), No. 4 on the Blue Chip list; receiver Taurian Washington (Ohio State), No. 8; quarterback Justin Siller (Purdue), No. 15; and linebacker/guard Alex Delisi (Cincinnati), No. 30.
The Grand Valley State players: linebacker Blair Hollis and defensive lineman Ricky Thomas .
"We're proud, and they're going to good schools," St. Mary's coach George Porritt said. "It's the most since 2001."
