Flint Southwestern Academy to play at OLSM

ORCHARD LAKE--Orchard Lake St. Mary's and Flint Southwestern Academy have agreed to play a home-and-home series in 2008 and 2009.

The OLSM Athletic Department announced that a contract had been signed between the two schools for the next two seasons. Flint Southwestern will visit Orchard Lake on Saturday, September 13, 2008, for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The Eaglets will travel to Flint in 2009.

The agreement completes the Eaglet football schedule for 2008, filling an opening in the season's third week.

The Eaglets open the 2008 season on the road in East Grand Rapids on Thursday, August 28, in a rematch of last season's Division III finalists. The Eaglets open their league season against Detroit Jesuit at Ferndale High School on Friday, September 5.
