U-M's Morgan Trent signs with Bengals

CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Bengals have signed their first player from this year's draft, cornerback Morgan Trent of Michigan. He was the first of the club's two sixth-round selections, and the first of the Bengals' 11 picks overall to sign.

The three-year starter at Michigan played in 48 games and had seven interceptions. Terms of the contract were not released, but the Dayton Daily News said the deal was for four years and $1.862 million, including a $112,000 bonus.

(Note: Morgan Trent is a 2004 graduate of Orchard Lake St. Mary's).
