Eaglets Defeat Divine Child for First Win
DEARBORN--Looking for their first victory of the season, the St. Mary's Hockey Eaglets dominated the Dearborn Divine Child Falcons 7-1 at the U-M Dearborn Arena. Senior co-captain Patrick Nagorsen started the scoring early in the first period off an assist from Zack Doyen on a power play. Later in the first, senior co-captain Eric Roman scored the Eaglets' second goal with an assist from junior co-captain Alex Prough. In the second period, Prough scored a power play goal with assists from Zack Doyen and Todd Davis. With 3:45 left in the second period, Jon Castine scored with assists from Eric Roman and Krystian Dziubinski. In the third period, Patrick Nagorsen scored his second goal off Zack Doyen's third assist of the game. Casey Rose scored an unassisted power play goal midway through the period, and freshman Clinton Bourbonias scored an unassisted short-handed goal with two minutes left. Kyle Blakey scored Divine Child's only goal with an assist from Eric Livingston. The Eaglets are now 1-2 on the season and are home to Grosse Ile on Saturday, December 4.
