OLSM Defeats Brother Rice

ORCHARD LAKE --Orchard Lake St. Mary's skated to an 8-2 victory over Birmingham Brother Rice on Tuesday night in their first meeting of the year and possibly providing a preview when the Eaglets (9-6-3) skate against Rice in the Catholic League championship game on February 19 at St. Mary's.
   Zach Doyen and Alex Prough each had two goals and one assist, Jeff Petry, Eric Roman, Shane Dwyer, and Casey Rose each scored. Shane Trexler made 36 saves in goal for St. Mary's.
   Matt McGarry and Michael Hamiton scored for Brother Rice (10-7-0).
