OLSM loses to TCC in 2OT, 4-3


TRAVERSE CITY--In the championship game of the Traverse City Central Christmas Tournament, Orchard Lake St. Mary's (5-5-2) lost to host Traverse City Central, 4-3, in double overtime.

Jon Falvo netted a pair of goals and Clinton Bourbonais added a goal and an assist for the Eaglets.  Goalie Joe Savona made 17 saves.  St. Mary's outshot the Trojans 55-21 for the game.

Bourbonais scored in the first period off assists from Billy Balent and Dan Stanisz.  Traverse City Central scored two goals in the second period to take the lead.  Falvo scored two third period goals off assists from Bourbonais and Mac Watts, the final to tie the game and send it into overtime.  There was no scoring in the first overtime.  The Trojans' game winning goal was scored on a power play in the second overtime.
