Six Eaglets named All-State

LANSING--Six members of the Eaglets' Division 1 State Championship team were named All-State by the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association.  Senior defenseman Mac Watts and junior forward Billy Balent were named to the Division 1 All-State First Team.  Senior goalie Joe Savona and junior forward Clinton Bourbonais were named to the Second Team, and senior defenseman Jon Falvo and senior forward/defenseman Brandon Kozlowski was name Honorable Mention.

Other players named were:

FIRST TEAM

Goalies: Scott Lewan, Livonia Churchill; Ed Thomas, St. Clair Shores Lakeview; Dallas Kniss, Traverse City West.

Defense: Phil Wendecker and Jason Proctor, Churchill; Jeff Slusser, East Kentwood; Greg Merrill, Novi-Detroit Catholic Central; Vinny DiCristifaro, St. Clair Shores Lakeview; Dominic Scala, Novi-Detroit CC.
