Eaglets and Mustangs play to scoreless tie

KALAMAZOO--Orchard Lake St. Mary's and Portage Central played to a scoreless tie in boys hockey action on Saturday.

After a scoreless regulation, neither Portage Central (5-7-1) or St. Mary's (4-10-3) could get one past the other's netminders in overtime.

Portage Central sophomore goalie Brogan Vandervelde played a super game to earn the tie with 28 saves.  St. Mary's sophomore goalie Chris Sullivan had 18 saves.
