Eaglets lose to Sailors

MUSKEGON--A midseason winless streak may cause concern for some teams, but Orchard Lake St. Mary's hockey head coach Brian Klanow knows that it's all part of a team coming together.
Returning from a tough weekend series at nationally ranked Culver Military Academy in Indiana, the Ice Eaglets faced another traditionally tough opponent on the road in Muskegon Mona Shores on Friday night at Lakeshore Arena, losing 4-1.
Mona Shores led 3-0 after the first period, and 4-0 at the end of two.
Tim Hooker scored the Eaglets' only goal in the third period off assists from Aaron Schneider and Billy Balent.
St. Mary's (7-7-1) plays Portage Central at the Wings Stadium Annex in Kalamazoo at 3 pm today in an effort to break the winless streak.
