St. Mary's records shutout of Northville at Showcase

TRENTON--Orchard Lake St. Mary's Ice Eaglets continued to play into playoff form with a 5-0 win over the Northville Mustangs at the Trenton Showcase Thursday night.

Billy Balent had a hat trick and an assist for OLSM (7-12-2).  Aaron Schneider added a goal and an assist for the Eaglets.

Eaglet goalie Chris Sullivan recorded his third shutout of the season with 17 saves.

Ted Karanen had 28 saves for Northville.

The Eaglets play Muskegon Mona Shores today at 2:40 pm in their second Showcase game.
