St. Mary's rallies past TCW

TRAVERSE CITY — Despite trailing by two goals after the first period, Orchard Lake St. Mary's rallied, scoring two goals in the second period and the game-winner in the third period, beating Traverse City West 3-2 in a boys hockey tournament semifinal game Tuesday.

Cody Loyer and Ryan Foe both scored in the second period and Tanner Pond scored the game-winning goal in the third period for St. Mary's (6-4-1).

Jon Kello had two assists for the Eaglets.

Shane Totten and Gabe Hisen each scored first period goals for Traverse City West.

St. Mary's plays Traverse City Central for the tournament championship today at 3:30 pm.
