St. Mary's wins Traverse City Tournament championship

TRAVERSE CITY--Orchard Lake St. Mary's scored three goals in the third period to take down Traverse City Central, 3-0, in the Traverse City Tournament championship game on Saturday afternoon.

Christian Black, Zack Thompson and Nick Czinder each scored goals for the Eaglets. Black added an assist in the Eaglet victory, while Chris Sullivan played strong in goal recording the shutout with 18 saves. Max Borchers, Cody Loyer, and Mike Szmatula each had assists.

St. Mary's hosts Detroit Jesuit on Saturday, January 10.
