St. Mary's beats Howell to win Marquette Classic

MARQUETTE-- In the finals of the Marquette Classic tournament on Saturday, St. Mary's defeated Howell, 4-3.

Jon Kello scored twice, including the game-winner in the third period, for St. Mary's (7-4-1), ranked #3 in Division 1. Ryan Foe and Ian Brambs each added a goal for the Eaglets.

Alex Burton, Jordan Simmonds and Jake Henrickson scored for Howell (8-2), ranked #4 in Division 1.

The game was tied 3-3 after two periods.
