St. Mary's blanks Saginaw Heritage

TRAVERSE CITY -- Orchard Lake St. Mary's beat Saginaw Heritage, 8-0, in the opening round of the Traverse City Central Holiday Tournament on Monday.

David Muth and Trevor Vardallis each scored two goals, Luke Rodgers had four assists for St. Mary (6-3).

Goalies Austin Julvezan and Drew Delke combined for six saves and the team's first shutout of the season.
