Birmingham Seaholm shuts out St. Mary's

BIRMINGHAM--What started out well ended in disaster for St. Mary's as Birmingham Seaholm overwhelmed the Eaglets 15-0 on Monday night.
John Piceu, Tim Palmer and Zach Sturley each had three goals for the Maples (1-1), and Sturley added two assists. Joe Snabb stopped nine shots for the shutout.
The Maples scored three in the first quarter, five in the second, four in the third, and three in the final quarter to completely dominate the contest.
St. Mary's (0-2) plays at Warren De La Salle on Thursday.
