St. Mary's holds down Flint Powers
MT. MORRIS--Orchard Lake St. Mary's did not allow a goal by Flint Powers Catholic until the third period enroute to a 11-3 victory on a windy Saturday afternoon.
Ian Brambs led the Eaglets with three goals and four assists, followed by Tom Pellerito with three goals and an assist. Also scoring for St. Mary's were Drake Chwalibog (2), Patrick Kenrick (2) and Scott Koenigsknecht (1). Doug Boyd contributed two assists.
Cameron Schulze had 11 saves in goal for the Eaglets.
After a 7-0 halftime lead, St. Mary's (13-4) outscored the Chargers 4-3 in the second half.
St. Mary's ends its regular season at home on Tuesday against Bloomfield United.
