Brambs and Austin lead St. Mary's over Grosse Ile

ORCHARD LAKE -- Ian Brambs and Brendan Austin led Orchard Lake St. Mary's to a MHSAA Division 2 opening round lacrosse playoff win over Grosse Ile, 29-3, on Wednesday.

Brambs scored seven times and had seven assists for a total of 14 points, and Austin also had seven goals for St. Mary's (10-8). Matt Valassis added one goal and had two assists for the Eaglets.

St. Mary's advances to play Dexter on Tuesday, June 1, at Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard.
