ZEELAND--In its first season in Division 2, Williamston won the state title with 57 points, with East Lansing claiming 42 points for second place at Zeeland West. Dexter (28), St. Clair Shores Lake Shore (23) and Whitehall (22) rounding out the top five.
Detroit Country Day collected 10 points to tie for 22nd, Orchard Lake St. Mary's tied for 29th (8) and Farmington Harrison tied for 35th (6).
County Day 's Bennie Fowler captured the long jump state title with a 22-5.25 effort.
St. Mary's Tayler Peruski was runner-up in the 400 (49.4) and Harrison 's Darius Davis third (49.7) to account for those two team's points.
Peruski broke the school record in the 400 that he set at the Oakland County Championships.
