St. Mary's wrestlers do not advance at state finals

AUBURN HILLS -- Orchard Lake St. Mary's placed two wrestlers in the MHSAA Division 2 Individual State Finals competition, but neither advanced past the first round.

Junior Eric Stock, wrestling at 119-lb., lost his opening match to Luke Gilmore of Greenville, 10-0, then lost a consolation bracket match to Harry Krieger of Spring Lake, 9-2. Stock finished the season 37-9.

Junior David Anderson, wrestling at 215-lb., lost his opening match to Sean Domas of Milan, 5-0, then was pinned by Kyle Spear of Spring Lake in a consolation bracket match. Anderson finished the season 14-13.
